Geogrids are flat geosynthetics made of polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene, PVC, glass fiber and even basalt by weaving, intertwining, stretching and heat sealing.
They are most frequently used for reinforcement of earth structure in aggregate layers.
Aggregate particles interlock within geogrid apertures.
